Conveyor systems that lack transparency and are difficult to adapt make it hard to efficiently manage material flows, leading to downtime and high maintenance costs. TURCK addresses this challenge with digital conveyor systems based on decentralized automation, intelligent sensor technology, IO-Link devices, and multi-protocol Ethernet. Drives, sensors, and controllers are interconnected in a modular fashion, while status and process data are collected in real time and used for condition monitoring and predictive maintenance. The open architecture enables easy integration into existing plants and IIoT systems. This allows conveying processes to be scaled flexibly, failures to be detected early, and operational workflows to be optimized, which increases plant availability, reduces maintenance costs, and sustainably improves efficiency in production and intralogistics.
