Ethernet multiprotocol now also with CC-Link
TURCK is expanding the multiprotocol capabilities of its TBEN-S and TBEN-L block I/O module series to include CC-Link IE Field Basic, thereby combining the world's most widely used Ethernet protocols into a single solution
Benefits
Simple: Available as a firmware update
Powerful: Useful ARGEE and BEEP functions included
Flexible: IO-Link and analog modules in CC-Link IE FB
TURCK's multiprotocol Ethernet technology now also supports CC-Link IE Field Basic. Without the need for manual adjustment, devices with this standard can operate in networks with Profinet , EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP or CC-Link IE Field Basic. The expansion is activated via a simple firmware update and is initially available for the TBEN-S and TBEN-L IP67 block I/O series.
Improved integration in Asia's industrial markets
Thanks to the update, users in Asia can now also benefit from the flexibility of TURCK's multiprotocol technology. Particularly in Japan, but also in China, India, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, CC-Link has a market share of up to 40 percent. Machine builders and OEMs who operate worldwide don't need to store separate I/O modules for CC-Link, reducing the complexity of procurement and logistics and thereby reducing costs.
