Rugged angle measurement for mobile equipment
TURCK's robust QR20 sensors with SAE-J1939 and Deutsch connectors ensure reliable angle detection on mobile machines
Benefits
Molded Deutsch connector ensures IP68/IP69K tightness
Robust design withstands shocks, vibrations and tensile loads
SAE J1939 and analog versions for easy integration
Various angle ranges for optimum resolution
TURCK expands the QR20 encoder portfolio with versions with factory-molded Deutsch connectors. This connection and the non-contact design ensure a continuous IP68/IP69K seal — from the sensor to the interface. In combination with the extreme mechanical load capacity against shocks, vibrations and tensile loads on the cables, the inductive angle sensors are ideal for use in mobile machines. Since the devices can be installed along with the existing cabling without protective housing or strain relief, users save time during installation.
Flexible interfaces for easy integration
The version with SAE-J1939 output can be easily integrated into networks. Alternatively, TURCK offers a version with analog voltage output. In addition to the 360° full range, seven defined angular ranges between ±10 and ±120 are available to users for quick commissioning of the analog sensors. If only a section of the angular range needs to be detected, the sensor resolution can be maximized.
Robust angle detection for mobile machines
Typical applications for the QR20 sensors are angle detection on lift arms , pantographs, snow-clearing vehicles, combine harvesters or lifting equipment in commercial vehicles, agricultural and construction machinery.
