Magnetic Field Sensors

Magnetic field sensors detect the position and movement of magnetic fields without physical contact, for example in cylinders or compact drive solutions. They can be installed in a space-saving manner and reliably detect piston positions even in the presence of vibrations or varying loads. As a result, they support short cycle times and stable end-position and motion monitoring in automation systems.

Magnetic field sensors from TURCK offer versatile solutions for industrial automation and condition monitoring. They enable precise, non-contact detection of piston positions in pneumatic cylinders as well as continuous position measurement via an analog or IO-Link interface. Magnetic field sensors in threaded-tube housings are ideal for pig detection or as high-performance proximity sensors with a large detection range. The portfolio is complemented by weld nut sensors that reliably detect and secure weld nuts, sleeves, and ferromagnetic components. Magnetic field-based condition monitoring solutions also detect movements, rotation, or changes in the condition of magnetic components and provide additional temperature information for greater transparency into plant status.

  • Rugged specialized detection: Threaded barrel magnetic field sensors enable long switching distances of up to 90 mm, fast detection at up to 1 kHz, and pig detection in process plants
  • Integrated process reliability: NIMFE sensors combine the detection and securing of weld nuts, sleeves, and ferromagnetic components in the mounting bolt
