TURCK receives cyber security certificate

TURCK has certified its development processes for industrial automation and control systems according to safety standard IEC 62443-4-1. Certification was issued by TÜV NORD and confirms the introduction of the highest safety standards throughout the entire product development cycle. TURCK achieves maturity level 2, which demonstrates structured documentation and the introduction of security measures into the development process. This underlines TURCK's commitment to security by design and creates additional transparency and trust for customers worldwide.

IEC 62443-4-1 defines how manufacturers must develop, test and maintain safety-relevant software and systems – a central component for protecting networked production environments. Certification is an important milestone in the EU's Cyber Resilience Act, which will be mandatory for digital products from the end of 2027.
