TURCK is expanding its IMX interface device series with variants that can be parameterized directly on the device using rotary code switches. For example, the limit values for OSC ("on-site configuration ") variants can be easily set up on site using a screwdriver. The rotation speed monitor, temperature transducer and trip amplifier are particularly useful for stand- alone applications where there is no systemic infrastructure for central parameterization. TURCK offers both IMX12-OSC variants for explosion-hazardous areas and IM12-OSC devices for non-hazardous areas.
SIL2-certified and can be used worldwide
The OSC models offer all the advantages of the classic IM12 and IMX12 interface devices. They comply with SIL2 and are approved for the same markets as the classic devices. The IMX12 requires 12.5 mm of installation space in the control cabinet and can be used up to ATEX zone 2. The signal connection is via screw-type or spring-type terminals, with optional power supply via the rear power bridge.
