Read/write heads designed for extreme environmental conditions are engineered for industrial applications involving moisture, dust, vibrations, or intensive cleaning. Fully encapsulated devices, rugged housings, and models for washdown areas enable reliable RF identification directly within the process. Depending on the design, high protection ratings up to IP69K and long read/write ranges are possible.

Up to 32 bus-capable RF read/write heads can be operated per RFID channel in a daisy-chain topology and addressed individually. The continuous RF bus mode also supports parallel identification in static and slow-dynamic applications.

Read/write heads with IO-Link combine RFID functionality with a cost-effective standard interface.
