Fast HF read/write head with S2 system redundancy
TURCK's robust multiprotocol Ethernet read/write head starts up in less than 500 ms and operates from -40 to +70 °C
Benefits
- Cost- and time-optimized installation
- Plug-and-work into existing network topologies
- High degree of freedom during installation
With the new HF read/write head with integrated multiprotocol Ethernet interface, TURCK is expanding its RFID portfolio to include an efficient solution with unique features in terms of startup time, communication and safety.
Lightning fast and twice as safe thanks to S2 redundancy
With a startup time of less than 500 milliseconds, the TNSLR-Q130-EN is ideal for highly dynamic applications such as tool changes where every second counts. Thanks to its multiprotocol design, the device communicates fully automatically in Profinet, EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP networks. The integrated S2 system redundancy also enables redundant communication between two controllers in a Profinet network, which offers a significant safety advantage. Another advantage is the extended temperature range from -40 to +70 °C, which makes the device an appealing choice for use in cold store logistics — another feature that is unique on the market.
User-friendly installation and operation
With its compact dimensions and large detection range, TURCK's HF read/write head can be excellently integrated into plant and machine concepts. As the TNSLR combines RFID functionality and a multiprotocol Ethernet interface with QuickConnect capability in one device, the effort that goes into installation and wiring is considerably reduced. Users in a wide range of industries have an efficient and flexible solution for their writing and reading requirements — from series machine manufacturing, transport and handling, and production lines to material handling, and fixed and autonomous mobile robots (AMR).
