Versatile IO-Link Class A master
TURCK's TBEN‑L‑8IOLA improves cost efficiency in typical IO‑Link applications for complex sensors and end devices
Benefits
- Can be used universally in pure IO-Link, I/O and mixed applications
- Simplified logistics, as only one device needs to be kept in stock for different applications
- Simplified integration, commissioning and maintenance via SIDI and IODD configurator
TURCK is expanding its IO-Link portfolio to include the TBEN-L-8IOLA Class A IO-Link master. The Ethernet block I/O module in a robust TBEN-L housing offers eight Class A IO-Link master ports. Class A ports are often preferred for connecting smart sensors because their digital channels and voltage levels are clearly separated. Each of the eight female connectors alternatively provides two universal DXP channels, which can be used as input or output — giving the universal module up to 16 channels. The current-carrying capacity of 2 A on pin 2 of all ports also enables the supply of actuators with increased power requirements.
Multiprotocol features and simplified device integration
As a TURCK multiprotocol device, the new master can be used in Ethernet networks with PROFINET, EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP without user intervention. In addition, other multiprotocol features such as a switch for line topologies and a web server are integrated. Like all other TURCK IO-Link masters in the TBEN product series, this module also supports SIDI (Simple IO-Link Device Integration) as well as the IODD configurator in the web interface.
Ideal for demanding environments and a wide temperature range
The Ethernet block I/O module is available in two variants: with L-coded M12 connectors or 7/8″ 4-pin round connectors. With a temperature range from -40 to 70 °C and IP67 and protection class IP67 and IP69K, the new I/O module is also perfectly suited for harsh environments.
