TURCK's new Efficiency Line IO-Link masters in IP67 reduce the costs of decentralized automation in standard applications
TURCK presents two new IP67 IO-Link masters of the Efficiency Line with eight Class A ports, which can alternatively provide up to 12 universal digital inputs or outputs. The cost-efficient devices are designed for applications with limited requirements in terms of current and temperature range and are particularly suitable for connecting smart sensors. As multiprotocol devices, they support Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, and CC Link IE Field Basic, enabling the cost-effective implementation of complete IO-Link applications in these networks without a control cabinet.
Specification designed for standard applications
The efficiency IO-Link masters feature an ultrasonically welded housing with IP67 protection and are designed for ambient temperatures from −25 to +60 °C. Depending on the variant, the ports provide up to 1 A or 0.5 A. An integrated web server with IODD configurator simplifies the parameterization of connected devices and shortens commissioning time. Typical areas of application are smart sensor applications in which several IO-Link devices are connected, parameterized, and monitored directly in the field.
The Efficiency Line variants, TBEN-ELL-8IOLA (M12 power L-coded) and TBEN-ELAE-8IOLA (M12 power A-coded), differ only in terms of coding and the number of M12 power connections. For applications with higher requirements, TURCK continues to offer the TBEN-L and TBEN-S IO-Link masters of the Performance Line.
