TURCK is expanding the multiprotocol capabilities of its TBEN-S and TBEN-L block I/O module series to include CC-Link IE Field Basic, thereby combining the world's most widely used Ethernet protocols into a single solution

TURCKs Multiprotokoll-Ethernet-Technologie unterstützt ab sofort auch CC-Link IE Field Basic. Geräte mit diesem Standard arbeiten ohne manuelle Anpassungen in Netzwerken mit Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP oder CC-Link IE Field Basic. Die Erweiterung wird durch ein einfaches Firmware-Update aktiviert und ist zunächst für die IP67-Block-I/O-Serien TBEN-S und TBEN-L verfügbar.
Verbesserte Integration in Asiens Industriemärkte
Von der Flexibilität der TURCK-Multiprotokoll-Technologie profitieren durch das Update jetzt auch Anwender in Asien. Insbesondere in Japan, aber auch in China, Indien, Korea, Malaysia, Singapur und Thailand hat CC-Link einen Marktanteil von bis zu 40 Prozent. Global aktive Maschinenbauer und OEMs ersparen sich die Lagerhaltung von separaten I/O-Modulen für CC-Link, was die Komplexität in Beschaffung und Logistik senkt und damit auch die Kosten.
