TURCK is expanding its TURCK Automation Suite (TAS) IIoT and service software platform with the industrial cloud service TAS Cloud for remote maintenance and condition monitoring. Customers can use it to assemble their individual cloud solution from six modules and tailor the billing of their services accordingly. Users only pay for services they actually use.
Convenience functions: maintenance manager and VPN
With the maintenance manager, TAS Cloud sets the benchmark. This service allows users to create, schedule, execute, and document maintenance plans for their machines without programming using the modular principle. TAS Cloud communicates via the MQTT IIoT standard, which guarantees the best connectivity to other systems and services. Service technicians can monitor machine conditions and control functions remotely. The cloud service offers a convenient VPN connection for unlimited access to all functions as in the company network.
TAS Desktop, TAS Cloud and more
With the launch of TAS Cloud, TURCK is now offering the second module set of its Automation Suite. The TAS set of service tools available so far will be further developed under the name TAS Desktop. In the medium term, the IIoT and service platform will be complemented by TAS Edge, which will provide all the necessary tools for edge computing on TURCK hardware, as well as TAS Mobile, a special version for mobile devices.
TAS Cloud can be connected via all TX HMIs and edge controllers from TURCK as well as the modular I/O systems BL20 and BL67. The IP67 PLC TBEN-L-PLC will soon be available as a client for TAS Cloud.
