With the latest release 1.9 of the TURCK Automation Suite TAS, Codesys control programs can now be managed via the network and easily loaded, saved, executed, and stopped using batch processing. Previously, this had to be done directly in Codesys on each individual device. The update offers another innovation for the smart M12Plus cable series: the Cable Monitor app displays the voltage, current, and temperature of the M12Plus cables, enabling condition monitoring for particularly critical connections.
Display transmission quality for HF read/write heads
The HF Tag Actions application offers a similar function. It can display possible disturbances of HF read/write heads for long ranges (TNSLR) that can be caused by metallic environments. This promises additional transparency and security when commissioning RFID systems. For the new Q130 HF read/write head with Ethernet interface, TAS even offers an extended analysis via the HF Quality app. It displays the transmission quality and RSSI value graphically in near real time.
Further innovations include language levels for Chinese, French, and Spanish, which expand the existing German and English language levels to a total of five. The new version 1.9.0.0 will be available at the start of the SPS trade fair 2023 on the TURCK website or as an update directly in TAS.
